IT Demand Specialist

As a Local IT Demand Specialist at Volvo Group, you will play a key role in advising Digital & IT solutions on digital transformation projects and products. This role is crucial in making digital transformation processes efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the business with their IT questions related to projects, order equipment and services, and maintain contact with suppliers.
- Partner with hardware suppliers to follow up on orders, budget requests, and catalogue updates.
- Work with service management to ensure catalogue content accuracy and provide suggestions for new equipment to be added.
- Secure quality of support according to Support Service agreements for IDEO locations.
- Promote the use of digital enablers and strategic partnerships to maximize value creation.
- Advisory and support to stakeholders to gather and identify their needs and problems and what solution would best address them.
- Guardian of the value proposition in every aspect of the Agile delivery process.
- Prioritize TD/BA demands with responsible Business Infrastructure Manager (BIM).
- Approve, enforce, and challenge end-user requests according to the IT Security Policies; involve responsible BIM in case of exemption requests.
- Analysis and approvals of requests from all TD/BAs (policy validation, understanding of new demands and items that are not available on catalogue).
- SNOW end-user equipment requests (review, escalation, or approval).
- Assistance in the search for new solutions (hardware and software) in projects or new demands.
- Investigation and analysis of new and existing software...assist in licensing and packaging.
- Support on projects, activities, information, and other areas that do not have a local BIM.
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience working with IT solutions.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to overcome difficulties and learn from mistakes.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Demonstrated growth and learning mindset and commitment to innovation.
- Experience working with Power BI and Power App Development.
