Job Title: Aftermarket Parts Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aftermarket Parts Technician to join our team at Hoffman & Hoffman Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customers' HVAC parts needs, working closely with our engineering sales staff, and ensuring partner and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through effective communication and relationship-building.
  2. Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within our established parts customers.
  3. Provide exceptional customer support by responding to customer inquiries, emails, and faxes in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy of needed replacement parts.
  5. Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers.
  6. Collaborate with Support Management, Account Management, and Sales teams to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  7. Multitask daily with a high volume of work to ensure company needs are met.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes and developments in the aftermarket industry.
  9. Provide excellent customer service at our local sales walk-in counter.
  10. Process warranty and revenue parts orders in support of our equipment sales team.
  11. Develop a strong relationship with our HVAC manufacturers through daily communications.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  2. Technical capacity in the HVAC industry.
  3. Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, MS Windows, and MS Publisher.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to lift 70lbs or less in the area of handling HVAC parts.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel:

This position requires once a year travel as required to attend our manufacturers' training opportunities.
