Cinema Service Associate Job Description

Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas is seeking a Cinema Service Associate to join our team. As a Cinema Service Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests while embodying Nice and Amazing Service.
  • Work closely with the expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrate Commitment and Integrity at all times, double-checking that orders are correct and complete, and communicating with the kitchen, expediter, or supervisors if they are not.
  • Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of the menu and Cinepolis offerings if guests would like to order more items.
  • Clean auditoriums, removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items.
  • Be of service to team members and assist them when needed, including scanning tickets for guests, cleaning, and restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or the box office.
  • Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to the proper resource if unable to assist.
  • Be cognizant of issues with movie projections and communicate with management when issues arise.
  • Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures, including but not limited to other duties.
  • Acknowledge guests by Cinépolis standards.
  • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • 1+ years of food running or bussing experience preferred.
  • ServSafe, Food Handling, and Alcohol training certifications required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues in a positive manner.
  • Must be able to maintain strong attention to detail while able to prioritize in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Have integrity and can be counted on to do the right thing.
  • Available nights, holidays, and weekends.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a theater environment where typical levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.

The noise level in the work environment is typical for cinemas and can vary from moderate to high depending on areas of the premise.
