Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Equipment Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and installing electrical equipment and power distribution systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems to identify and repair faults
  • Install and replace electrical equipment and power distribution systems, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment and systems, including motors, transformers, generators, and control panels
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations
  • Document and report maintenance activities, including work completed and equipment performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical equipment repair and maintenance
  • Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Electronic Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Valid DC Journeyman Electrician's License and Motor Vehicle Operating License
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and vibration. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
