- Act as a team role model and change-agent, positively influencing team members to achieve individual and business goals
- Assist the team manager with production flow and daily staffing of equipment to meet monthly budgets
- Communicate and supervise key operational metrics, collaborating with other functional areas to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes
- Provide feedback to the team manager regarding the production team member's performance and coordinate production activities to meet business needs
- Promote and facilitate the personal development of team members by identifying and creating opportunities for training
- Ensure that all employees are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training instructions, and lead the efforts to identify the root cause and put preventative actions in place for quality-and safety-related issues
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge and ability to work with computers and programs (Google, email, documents, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, manufacturing systems)
- Willingness to act as an additional manufacturing resource by taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day production activities
- Must regard safety as a core value and serve as a role model for other employees, encouraging adherence to safety practices, policies, and procedures
- Must be able to actively contribute in a team-based environment, encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management to effectively reach a common goal
- Must have a strong service and quality focus, be able to address issues effectively when problems arise, and take initiative to understand root cause then communicate/educate team in a timely manner
- Must have demonstrated record of flexibility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus
- Must have a strong detail orientation and be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs
- Willingness to participate in additional training (On/off Site) as needed
