Store Operations Manager

As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations. This includes ensuring profitability, controlling expenses, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects assigned by the Team Leader.
Key Accountabilities
- Develops and maintains creative store layouts and product merchandising.
- Works with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
- Assists the Team Leader in analyzing sales reports and labor.
- Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and stays up-to-date on new products.
- Maintains good vendor relationships and ensures all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
- Resolves team concerns or issues with the Team Leader.
- Functions as the point person and departmental leader in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
- Fosters a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
Customer Service
Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs, directing team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers. Responds promptly to customer needs and questions.
Leadership and Development
Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels team members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover. Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.

- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be able to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and extreme temperatures are also required.
