Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Help individuals participate in community activities and enjoy their favorite hobbies
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
- Take initiative to help individuals achieve their goals and live independently
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible individual
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
