Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of products and shipments to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize our quality control processes.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor team members on quality control measures to enhance our processes and ensure quality standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Compile and maintain accurate records of quality control activities and submit reports to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, R&D, Production, and other departments to ensure seamless quality control processes.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree from an accredited community, technical, or vocational college preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
- Skills: Lean/process improvement tools experience and/or interest in advancing knowledge in this area.
- Physical Demands: Operates in both an office environment and manufacturing/warehouse environment, including indoor environmental conditions and noise.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to work standing and/or walking continuously throughout an 8-hour shift; frequent reaching, grasping, bending, and stooping.
- Visual Requirements: Adequate vision to read work instructions, job aids, and guides, and detect imperfections in raw materials, tooling, and finished product.
