Key Responsibilities:

Service Support: Acts as a backup for Service Technicians, covering for absences and providing additional support as necessary. Temporarily takes over routes that have not yet been assigned to a regular Technician.

Pest Management: Conducts inspections to identify the source of pest activity. Provides services for residential and commercial clients. Completes exterior sealing on properties to prevent rodent and wildlife entry. Performs inspections for Wood Destroying Organisms. Drills and treats for Dry Wood and Subterranean Termites, fungi, and beetles. Installs and maintains termite control systems for clients.

Minor Construction and Repair: Engages in light construction tasks including patios, doors, eaves, walls, and floors. Assists Repair Technicians with wood damage replacement.

Continuous Learning: Acquires knowledge about the range of available Terminix products and services. Stays updated on the latest industry developments, trends, technologies, and regulations. Participates in training provided by Terminix on new methods, products, and services. Obtains and maintains necessary licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations, funded by Terminix.


Position Requirements:
  • Successfully pass pre-employment background screening.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays during peak demand periods.
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Customer-facing experience is preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Comfortable working at heights (e.g., climbing a ladder up to 20 feet).
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable about Terminix products and services.
  • Comfortable with self-directed work conditions after a training period.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $21.83 / hour. In addition to the base pay, a colleague in this role who has completed training may be eligible for additional monetary compensation, including overtime, incentives, and/or commission pay. Total annual earning potential may vary based on performance, assigned routes, and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
