Position Overview: We are looking to enhance our team by hiring a Nephrologist for the Central Arkansas region, driven by physician retirements and an expanding market. This role involves light local travel across multiple locations.

About Arkansas: Known as the Natural State, Arkansas is also recognized as a prime travel destination in Mid-America, offering a low cost of living.

Practice Details:

  1. Current physician count: six
  2. Specialization: Nephrology only; no Internal Medicine
  3. Patient load: Approximately 700 ESRD patients, including 200 on PD/HHD/Nocturnal
  4. Hospital coverage: Nine facilities
  5. Dialysis facilities: Ten in-center HD units, four PD units, and two HHD units associated with Davita
  6. Medical Directorships: Credentialed at all facilities
  7. Vacation: Five weeks plus one week for educational purposes
  8. Vehicle: Provided with insurance coverage
  9. Relocation: Assistance with home purchasing and relocation expenses negotiable

  11. Partnership: Track available for interested candidates

Strengths of the Practice: Established in 1986, our physician-owned nephrology practice in Central Arkansas is expanding both inpatient and outpatient services. We have joint ventures with Davita for dialysis facilities and a dedicated clinical and administrative team.

Language Requirement: English (Required)

License/Certification:

  • MD/Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Board Eligible/Certified in Nephrology (Required)

Additional Requirements: Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible/Certified in Nephrology. A Medical Doctor degree or its foreign equivalent is required, along with an Arkansas Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
