Position Overview
The Mobile Experts, Store-in-Store play a vital role in our Retail Team, bringing the T-Mobile brand to life in partner locations where engaging with customers is essential. Mobile Experts excel in building and nurturing customer relationships through impactful interactions. Mobile Experts consistently surpass their performance goals by excelling in sales, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and achieving quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage proactively with a diverse range of customers in a busy retail setting. Utilize digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and highlight the value of T-Mobile solutions.
- As a Mobile Expert, leverage digital self-service tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identify customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to showcase the value of T-Mobile products and services. By recommending wireless solutions and onboarding processes that help customers utilize the T-Mobile app, deepen customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes. Regularly review personal results, current promotions, and updates to be Customer Ready at all times. Continuously learn and enhance skills to provide the best possible customer experience. Collaborate with nearby store locations to ensure comprehensive onboarding for customers.
- Exhibit a customer-centric approach. Be passionate, friendly, and engaging with customers. Build rapport, trust, and loyalty with every interaction. Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity in your location. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and foster relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Develop relationships with nearby leadership and teams to enhance the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 30 days of T-Mobile Mobile Associate experience (Required)
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Preferred)
- Customer Satisfaction: A passionate advocate for customers with the ability to connect and engage while balancing customer experience and performance goals (Required).
- Team Collaboration: A desire to be part of a transformative T-Mobile store team, willing to work alongside peers and leaders, sharing best practices while serving customers (Required).
- Sales Acumen: A competitive drive and confidence to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment (Required).
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
No travel required.
Compensation:
Hourly Base Pay: $16.50. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for incentive pay while completing training milestones. Upon completion, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives may vary based on performance and full-time status. All employees at T-Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Additionally, every employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
