Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care that meets the patient's needs.
- Assess patient conditions, implement treatment changes as necessary, and work with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the Operating Room.
- Special training and/or experience in surgical procedures.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
- Additional languages preferred.
