About the Role

L&M Radiator, Inc. is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of custom-made cooling and heat transfer solutions for heavy equipment in various industries. We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our assembly team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble MESABI Heat Exchangers, performing tasks such as installing grommets, assembling fans, motors, belts, and building crates for final product shipment.
  • Work with a variety of power tools and have the opportunity to grow knowledge and skills.
  • Observe, guide, and assist with training, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new team members.
  • Collaborate with other assemblers, assembly supervisors, and the production manager to meet production goals.
  • Rotate shifts every other week, working either day or afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
  • 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED with 1-year of work experience.
  • Strong mechanical ability and experience using power tools and forklifts when necessary.
Working Conditions
  • Perform work in a safe manner, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Stand on concrete for 8-10 hours.
  • Work in high heat conditions.
  • Use power tools while standing, twisting, crouching, standing on step ladders, or holding them above your head.
