Position Overview:

This full-time role features a rotating shift pattern that varies weekly:

  • Monday - Friday: (Day Shift) 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • (Evening Shift) 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Occasional overtime may be necessary.

Role Summary:

As a welding technician, your primary focus will be on working with mild and stainless steel, brass, and aluminum materials utilizing MIG and TIG welding methods.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance on MIG and TIG welding equipment.
  • Utilize torches, grinders, drill presses, plasma cutters, drills, and various other workshop tools.
  • Support different production sectors as required.
  • Accurately assemble and weld components such as oil cooler frames and radiator frames.
  • Prepare parts for final assembly processes.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition.
  • Adhere to safety practices and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Occasional travel, including weekends, may be necessary for both domestic and international assignments.
Entry-Level Requirements:
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Capability to utilize measuring instruments like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Ability to follow instructions with precision.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments for mathematics, welding skills, and background verification.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or completion of a welding training program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Welding and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor or Ultimate.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
