Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for scans and measuring the concentration of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of duties in preparing patients for scans, including administering pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Utilize a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment to perform tests.
  • Administer pre-medication and radioactive isotopes to patients.
  • Transfer patients to examining tables and prepare them for exams.
  • Scan patients using gamma cameras and make proper settings.
Requirements
  • CPR certification required.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • 1 year of experience preferred, but not required.
