Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for scans and measuring the concentration of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of duties in preparing patients for scans, including administering pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine Physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for each individual.
Requirements:
  • CPR certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
