Join Our Team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician

Are you an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician seeking a new opportunity to advance your career? We are collaborating with a prominent supplier in the Aerospace and Defence sector, aiming to enhance their Mechanical Assembly team focused on critical safety components.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a traditional mechanical assembly setting, producing high-precision assemblies that meet exact specifications.
  • Utilize technical documentation, established procedures, and schematics to construct components and sub-assemblies to the highest quality standards.
  • Employ kits of parts, hand tools, and various equipment to finalize assemblies.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on components and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with required tolerances and technical specifications.
  • Adhere to production job cards, ensuring that assembly techniques are executed correctly to:
    • Follow company processes effectively.
    • Achieve necessary quality benchmarks.
    • Maintain productivity to ensure departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

Do You Have What It Takes?

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Assembly roles, particularly in assembling complex systems, or;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a solid understanding of complex systems.

While an NVQ level 2 qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
