Primary Responsibilities:

  • Store Oversight: Supervise daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures, staff management, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Stock Oversight: Ensure precise inventory documentation, conduct regular stock assessments, and manage inventory levels to satisfy customer needs.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Manage store financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, generating financial reports, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee and track accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and develop strategies to reduce outstanding accounts.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver outstanding customer service, address customer grievances, and guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Handling: Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack for the loading and unloading of merchandise, as well as organizing stock within the store.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Retail Operations Supervisor or in a comparable retail management position.
  • Strong expertise in accounts receivable oversight and collection processes.
  • Experience in retail stock management and financial record-keeping.
  • Competence in operating a forklift and pallet jack (certification is advantageous).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and effectively manage challenging situations.

Educational Background:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
