Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's East in Trussville, AL. As a key member of our Medical Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of nursing professionals.
Responsibilities- Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.
- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
