We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Education Simulation Specialist to join our team at Chamberlain University. In this role, you will provide academic support to students throughout their academic program, with a focus on preparing them for success on the NCLEX-RN exam.
As a Simulation-Based Learning Specialist, you will work with students individually and in small groups to assess their learning styles, identify strengths, and develop personalized remediation plans. You will also create and implement simulation-based experiences and labs, including equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, and set-up and clean-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate simulation-based experiences and labs
- Assist in the creation of Next Generation NCLEX activities and workshops
- Communicate and document students' academic progress to academic leadership
- Develop and implement clinically based scenarios for simulated learning experiences
- Coordinate and supervise lab experiences to ensure students meet course objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Education or Nursing preferred
- 1+ year experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring support preferred
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
We offer a competitive salary range of $49,199 to $86,253, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement program, and flexible time off policy.
