About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our client's dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to plan and execute special events and menu promotions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior chef in a high-volume restaurant or food service environment
- Proven track record of leading a team to achieve exceptional results and high customer satisfaction
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
