Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our H&V Special Projects Team, you will serve as a clinical subject matter expert for process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for analyzing and optimizing workflows across the inpatient setting, procedural and imaging areas, and outpatient clinics in Heart and Vascular.
  • Partner with stakeholders to document workflows, identify areas of opportunity, and develop tracking for metrics.
  • Monitor progress and provide strategic input for project plan development, budget, and scope.
  • Develop and present data metrics and dashboards for associated projects.
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute H&V wide projects, including project management life cycle from inception to completion.
  • Establish cohesion for achieving multi-disciplinary stakeholder and project team buy-in.
  • Provide continual reports on progress and performance.
  • Develop and give presentations on projects to a variety of audiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's degree in nursing, business administration, health care administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years of healthcare experience with progressive leadership or project management experience.
  • Valid, active unencumbered Georgia Nursing license.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • 1-10 lbs 0-33% of the work day (occasionally), negligible 34-66% of the workday (frequently), negligible 67-100% of the workday (constantly).
  • Lifting 10 lbs max, carrying of small articles such as dockets, ledgers, files, small tools, occasional standing & walking, frequent sitting, close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing).
  • Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
  • Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: blood-borne pathogen exposure, bio-hazardous waste, chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting, patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, travel may be required, use of personal protective equipment, including respirators.
