Job Overview

About the Role

Johnson Controls International is seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Mechanic to join our team in North America. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket services for our fast-growing HVAC business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to customers, resolving facility inefficiencies and service-related issues.
  • Collaborate with local market mechanics to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Travel up to 20% to support branch customers with startup and commissioning activities, as well as aftermarket service troubleshooting.
  • Participate in JCI's Service Plus Rewards program and provide quotes to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of practical working experience on Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU's or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chiller system components.
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.
  • Self-starter with a passion/desire to learn and apply on the job.
  • Prioritize safety in all forms.
