About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at PsychiaTreat. As a key member of our front desk team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities* Scheduling appointments efficiently* Managing phone calls and responding to patient inquiries* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records* Ensuring timely collection of patient charges and filing third-party claims* Providing exceptional customer service to patients* Collaborating with providers and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow* Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area* Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing third-party claims* Obtaining patient authorization for medical records releases (HIPAA compliance)

Requirements* High School diploma required* 5 years relevant experience and/or training* 1+ year experience with EMR systems (eCW experience a bonus) * 1+ year experience with patient scheduling* Excellent organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a medical setting* Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines*
