Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination of cross-disciplinary technical efforts in the creation of engineering work packages.
- Formulate and execute project work plans that align with contractual commitments and timelines.
- Assist in the formulation and tracking of project budgets and labor estimates, ensuring efficient financial management.
- Make cost-effective technical decisions while upholding quality benchmarks.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance in designs and conduct thorough drawing reviews.
- Engage in procurement activities, contract discussions, and vendor management.
- Oversee construction operations to guarantee compliance with established design packages.
- Implement quality assurance measures to sustain project excellence.
- Manage Scope Change Notices, change orders, specifications, and bid assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards applicable to EPC firms.
- Proficient in managing small to mid-sized projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry standards, policies, and procedures.
- Expertise in CPM scheduling, project controls, and overall project management.
- Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, with specialization in at least one area.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain extensive industry contacts, demonstrating skills in persuasion and negotiation.
