Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contact Center Specialist to join our team at Lancaster General Health. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, while also ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of appointments and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and services for patients and families
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients and families regarding their appointments and services
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and accurate
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience in a highly customer-oriented organization
  • One year of experience with keyboarding, personal computer use, and other office setting equipment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in one of the three trained phases, including meeting established performance standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience in a highly customer-oriented organization
  • One year of medical office or hospital outpatient scheduling/registration experience
  • One year of electronic medical record experience
  • One year of prior revenue cycle in a medical office or hospital setting
