Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care and support the delivery of medical treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in making medical diagnoses and planning treatment
  • Perform clinical duties, including prepping and draping patients for surgical procedures
  • Prescribe medications as outlined in departmental procedures and protocols
  • Conduct administrative tasks, such as reviewing patient charts and OR procedures
  • Participate in educational and research activities, including orientation and instruction of medical students and house staff
  • Plan patient care, including obtaining medical history and performing physical examinations
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina
  • Board certification, if required by the Department
  • DEA certification
