Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an IT site lead at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Newport (NUWC) detachment in Kings Bay, GA.">

  • Develop NUWC technical policies and business processes to enhance the detachment's ability to provide direct fleet support.">
  • Perform technical oversight of modernization performed by Alternation Installation Teams (AIT).">
  • Lead efforts to support OHIO Class submarine Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems (NEPS).">

Requirements

  • Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-04 (GS-11/12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating and developing Information Technology (IT) specifications, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements, and troubleshooting complex IT issues to support submarine operations.">
