About the Role

This role involves providing exceptional care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe, organized manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Medication Administration: Administering medications, reviewing daily logs, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Resident Care: Providing empathetic support, conducting Service and Health Updates, and participating in Individualized Service Plans (ISP)/Individualized Care Plans (ICP).
  • Risk Management and General Safety: Partnering with the community team to ensure compliance with regulations and promoting Risk Management programs and policies.

A competitive salary of $$65,000 per annum is offered, reflecting the geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses. This estimate may vary based on specific requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential.
  • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid.
  • Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
  • The ability to make choices and decisions while acting in the resident's best interest.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
