About the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center:

  • This Division operates a fully accredited CF Center and participates in the CF Foundation Therapeutics Development Network.
  • Our CF Center has been honored with a Quality Award from the CF Foundation for two consecutive cycles.
  • We are the sole center in New York State, outside of New York City, associated with the Children's Interstitial and Diffuse Lung Disease Network (chILD).
  • We are expanding our services in Severe Asthma, Aerodigestive, Neuromuscular Disease, and Complex Clinics, catering to numerous technology-dependent pediatric patients.
  • Clinical facilities include recently upgraded flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy tools and a pediatric-focused complete pulmonary function test (PFT) laboratory.
  • The PFT lab provides advanced testing options, including multiple breath washout/lung clearance index measures, oscillometry, and exhaled nitric oxide assessments, in addition to standard spirometry and body plethysmography.
