Pediatric Endocrinology Faculty Position

Position Overview:

The Department of Pediatrics is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to fill an Assistant or Associate Professor role within the non-tenure track. This position primarily focuses on clinical responsibilities, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient consultation services, while also contributing to the clinical education of medical students and residents.

Division Details:

The Division of Endocrinology currently comprises four Pediatric Endocrinologists, three Nurse Practitioners, a Registered Dietitian, and dedicated administrative personnel, collectively managing over 3,000 patient visits each year. Responsibilities may encompass a blend of the following:

  • Patient care
  • Teaching and mentorship
  • Independent or sponsored research initiatives
  • Administrative responsibilities
  • Community outreach efforts
  • University-related public service

The specific allocation of duties will be tailored based on the needs of the University, Department, and Division. Generally, successful candidates are expected to be active contributors to the University community, with performance metrics based on patient care, research engagement, teaching, and administrative service.

Compensation:

Academic rank and a competitive salary will be aligned with the qualifications of the selected candidate.

  • Medical Degree
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Eligibility for licensure in New York
  • Commitment to working within a dynamic, fully integrated program

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology

Salary Range:

$160,000 - $190,000 Annually

This salary range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, considering factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
