We are seeking a skilled Patient Authorization and Referral Representative to join our team at Providence Service. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient referral process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for referral management, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Assist the utilization review and case management nurse with referral management and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely referrals.
  • Communicate with patients and families to provide information and support.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a medical-related field.
  • Previous experience in utilization review, health plan, or managed care environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LPN or health data services coder.
