We are seeking a skilled Patient Authorization and Referral Representative to join our team at Providence Service. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient referral process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for referral management, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Assist the utilization review and case management nurse with referral management and monitoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely referrals.
- Communicate with patients and families to provide information and support.
- 2 years of experience in a medical-related field.
- Previous experience in utilization review, health plan, or managed care environment.
- LPN or health data services coder.
