Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, assist or perform treatments, diagnostics & monitoring, place IV catheters, draw blood, run lab tests, administer IV fluids, cleaning, feeding, and walking patients as needed.
  • Assist with anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory duties.
  • Prepare invoices, discharge instructions, and client informational tools.
  • Communicate with clients regarding hospitalized patients, provide follow-up care, and educate clients on at-home care procedures.
  • Assist with reception/front desk duties as needed.
  • Participate in training and mentoring new team members.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a coworker.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment with sounds from animals and equipment.
  • Ability to work with a variety of pets that may bite or scratch.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity, and visual acuity.
