Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Analyst to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Generate data reports and visualizations to inform business decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain data models and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Data Storage and Systems
    • Design and implement data storage solutions to ensure data security and accessibility.
    • Develop and maintain data systems to support business operations.
    • Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Data Operations Compliance and Support
    • Develop and maintain data documentation and training materials.
    • Provide technical support to business users on data-related issues.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
