Job Overview

As an Electro-Mechanical Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission and troubleshoot automated controls for supplied or modified equipment, ensuring timely and professional execution.
  • Design and execute on-site acceptance test procedures with the project manager and customer, guaranteeing seamless integration.
  • Develop and review technical documentation for accuracy, collaborating with the project manager to ensure consistency.
  • Provide technical interface between the customer and project manager, fostering a professional and effective communication channel.
  • Offer remote technical support to customers as assigned, delivering timely and professional assistance.
  • Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and troubleshooting purposes, ensuring accurate and efficient solutions.
  • Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with the BEUMER IT team during commissioning and troubleshooting, promoting a cohesive and professional approach.
  • Develop and maintain a strong, professional relationship with customers and project personnel, ensuring exceptional service and support.
  • Communicate commissioning and troubleshooting activities to the relevant personnel in a timely and professional manner, ensuring seamless coordination.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical systems, with a strong background in automation and control systems.
  • Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and troubleshoot Electro-Mechanical systems, ensuring accurate and efficient solutions.
  • Proficiency in Siemens S7 Ladder and STL programs, as well as Allen Bradley systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license, with the ability to meet insurance underwriting requirements.
