Job Summary

We are seeking a Front End Service Specialist to join our team at Food Lion. As a key member of our front-end staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service to customers through the achievement of Food Lion customer service standards.
  • Unload groceries from cart to belt for ease of bagging, check the bottom of every cart and under all baby seats for items before completing an order.
  • Scan customers' orders, handle payment transactions, and follow correct procedures for refunds and error correction.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions, bend and lift products weighing up to 15 lbs., and stand 100% of the time.

The estimated salary for this position is $13-$16 per hour, based on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
