The Quality Control Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in maintaining product excellence by conducting comprehensive physical and chemical evaluations of raw materials, intermediate products, and final goods to support the manufacturing operations.

This position primarily involves a 10-hour shift from Monday to Thursday.

As a Quality Assurance and Control Technician, your responsibilities will include:


• Conducting routine analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples utilizing various laboratory methodologies such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), density measurements, and viscosity assessments.


• Ensuring precise and timely documentation of all analytical results in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and reporting any Out-of-Specification materials to the QC Lab Supervisor for further evaluation.


• Assisting in the management of laboratory inventory, including consumables like HPLC columns, spare parts, reference standards, and control samples.


• Performing routine troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory instruments while identifying and implementing enhancements to laboratory processes.


• Managing Hazardous and Nonhazardous Waste generated from laboratory testing and equipment, adhering strictly to established quality, safety, and environmental protocols.

Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline; OR a High School Diploma accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience or 1 year of chromatography experience.


• Strong mathematical abilities and proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.


• In-depth knowledge of analytical methodologies, along with a solid understanding of proper chemical handling, usage, storage, and disposal practices.
