As a Field Operations Trainee, you can expect a competitive annual salary of $45,000, plus monthly bonuses for your hard work and dedication.


Job Description


In this dynamic role, you will travel extensively across the country, visiting 84 Lumber locations to support operational needs and assist with store inventory and procedures.


Key Responsibilities


Your primary duties will include:



  • Managing special projects and utilizing operational knowledge to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Creating seamless transitions between staffing when shortages occur
  • Product handling, inventory control, and reduction
  • Sales and estimating
  • Special projects as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (previous experience a plus)
  • The ability to read blueprints and create material lists
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Travel Requirements


This position requires extensive travel, with approximately 90% of your time spent on the road. We will provide all necessary travel arrangements, including flights, rental vehicles, and hotel accommodations.
