Safety-Kleen Warehouse Worker Job Description

Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join their team in Amarillo, TX. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of all assigned warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload containerized waste from route trucks and reload with supplies and equipment for next day's runs
  • Ensure all waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centers
  • Stock the warehouse with received materials and prepare waste loads for shipment
  • Perform minor repairs on parts washers and observe third-party bulk liquid transfers
  • Assist with inventory count at the warehouse and follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical functions per job requirements
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift experience and previous relevant experience
  • Experience with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets
