Position Summary

The Culinary Specialist will manage the daily operations of the grill and food preparation areas within the establishment. This role entails ensuring proper food preparation, handling, and storage practices. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrive at work punctually, dressed in a clean and complete uniform.
  • Welcome all patrons with a friendly smile and a warm greeting.
  • Prepare meals promptly upon receiving orders.
  • Complete the designated checklist while organizing and prepping for the next shift.
  • Immediately report any concerns to management, particularly regarding safety and customer service issues.
  • Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials, ensuring they are cooked and presented to the highest standards.
  • Adhere to service protocols with every guest to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Follow all safety and food handling regulations, along with cash security and other operational policies.
  • Execute all assigned preparation and cleaning tasks as directed by management.
  • Contribute to food cost management by minimizing waste and controlling portion sizes.
Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills with all restaurant personnel.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
