Position Summary

As a Quality Control Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all products are packaged correctly and adhere to rigorous quality standards before they are dispatched to clients. Your contribution is essential in maintaining product integrity by identifying and rectifying any defects or discrepancies from the defined quality specifications.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who possess prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or related fields.

Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of packaged products to confirm compliance with established quality criteria, including weight, dimensions, appearance, and labeling.
  • Ensure that all packaging materials and processes conform to relevant industry regulations and standards, such as FDA requirements for food packaging or ASTM specifications for materials.
  • Maintain precise documentation of inspections, test results, and any deviations from quality benchmarks, ensuring their ongoing accuracy and maintenance.
  • Reject any items or components that do not meet quality expectations.
  • Investigate the underlying causes of quality issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Promote clear and effective communication with production staff, quality assurance teams, and upper management to align on objectives and standards.
  • Perform quality control tasks safely and in accordance with established safety protocols.
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong mathematical skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
Shift Availability

Positions are available for 2nd and 3rd shifts only.

Compensation Package

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $24.

Location

Position based in Monroe, NJ.
