Job Summary

Roebuck Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Water Mitigation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will be responsible for providing emergency restoration services to residential and commercial property owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess damage and conduct initial site inspections to determine the scope of work
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation and demolition strategies to minimize damage and ensure a safe working environment
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Prepare and operate extraction and drying equipment to restore properties to their pre-loss condition
  • Perform high-level water mitigation, board-up, and mold remediation services
  • Conduct demolition activities, including removal of carpet, pad, flooring, drywall, insulation, and other materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked vehicle and equipment
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and completion of paperwork for each job
  • Work under time constraints to meet expected project timelines
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Related experience in construction, restoration, or a related field
  • Insurance experience preferred, but not required
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FRST, or AMRT) are preferred but not required
  • Mitigation and water drying experience preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and their uses
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide a valid driver's license
