Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Eyeglass Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our eyeglass department, including personnel management, inventory control, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and revenue growth by optimizing eyeglass department operations and implementing effective merchandising strategies.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of Opticians and CL Sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Monitor and control retail operating costs, budgets, and resources to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement store strategies, including forecasting staffing needs and recruiting top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines, and identify areas for improvement to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Optical license required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading, coaching, and building strong relationships with team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive experience for every customer.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • ABO and NCLE certification preferred.
