About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Community Finance team at Capital One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with developers and other industry stakeholders, marketing our products, and identifying opportunities that align with our overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and industry stakeholders
  • Share market intelligence with peers across the company to deepen our shared understanding and promote collaboration
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish business goals, plan portfolio growth, and manage new and existing relationships
  • Manage risk, support new business initiatives, and continuously well-managed processes
  • Adopt an enterprise mindset in strategy development and implementation, considering both the internal and external landscape
  • Innovate and find efficiencies in the application of data and technology to support business opportunities
  • Stay informed and demonstrate subject matter expertise, including attending and participating in industry workshops, conferences, etc.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 7 years of experience in client management, business development, financial services, or any combination of the three
  • At least 3 years of experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
  • At least 2 years of experience in lending, investments, community development lending, community development investments, or any combination of the four
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in market analysis
  • At least 7 years of experience pertaining to affordable housing, community development, or any combination of the two
  • Completion of credit training program (or equivalent work experience)
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
