At CVS Health, we are committed to developing the next generation of pharmacy leaders. As a participant in our Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL) program, you will have the opportunity to develop the necessary leadership knowledge, skills, and competencies to excel in a Pharmacy Manager position.

Program Overview

The PMEL program consists of two phases: Phase 1 focuses on self-paced learning to provide foundational knowledge on how to successfully manage a pharmacy, while Phase 2 provides key learning experiences that can be applied outside of regular shifts, allowing participants to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Broaden your capabilities and understand the critical role pharmacy leaders play in developing their teams and delivering results.
  • Develop leadership agility, innovation, growth mindset, enterprise thinking, setting direction, leading others, and delivering results.
  • Participate in operations and leadership/management skills training and learn about key aspects of the business and CVS Health culture.
Requirements
  • You must work full-time (30+ hours per week).
  • All current role required training must be 100% completed.
  • You meet Expectations or higher rating on last performance review.
  • You have a moderate or Strong Pharmacy Manager assessment (Virtual Job Tryout) score.
  • You are not currently on a level three warning or performance improvement plan within the last year.
  • You are willing to consider and accept a promotion into a Pharmacy Manager position if offered.
  • You have the ability to transfer to other CVS Health locations within the same District.
Preferred Qualifications
  • You have at least 1 year of experience as a Staff Pharmacist with CVS Health or equivalent retail pharmacy experience.
  • You have the ability to transfer to other CVS Health locations in other Districts within the Region.
Compensation and Benefits

This role is eligible for a base pay range of $65.00 - $78.00 per hour or annually. In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts its heart into caring for its colleagues and communities. Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.
