If you are looking for a rewarding role within a well-established lending team, this opportunity is for you.
Compensation:$22 - $30 hourly
Key Responsibilities:- Guide borrowers in selecting the most suitable mortgage options based on their unique circumstances.
- Document the entire loan process from initiation to approval using our comprehensive system.
- Gather and verify essential property and loan documentation, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records.
- Act as a liaison among the mortgage underwriting department, loan originators, real estate professionals, and applicants to ensure smooth loan approval.
- Compile and present loan packages to lender underwriters for evaluation and decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan products and prior mortgage lending experience are required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective time management are crucial.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
