Position Highlights

The Senior Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for organizing team activities, making necessary adjustments to maintain workflow, training new employees, and fostering a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication regarding company strategies and policies.
  • Recognize high-performing employees for promotions or awards while addressing underperformance through clear expectations and counseling.
  • Regularly meet with management to discuss challenges, propose solutions, and set departmental objectives.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and repair of both automated and manual manufacturing equipment, including:
    • CNC Laser Cutting and CNC Turret Punch Press Equipment
    • Robotic Welding Equipment
    • Automated Material Handling Systems
    • Automated Powder Coating Equipment
  • Maintain facility equipment and systems, including HVAC and electrical systems, ensuring daily emergency and preventive maintenance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Organized self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology, with 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in CNC control systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings.

Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical measuring devices.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 Quality Systems, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and Inventory Management.
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in PC usage and Windows software; database experience is a plus.
  • Basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Work Environment

  • This position is safety-sensitive and operates in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including safety shoes, hard hats, and safety glasses.
  • Must be capable of working from various types of ladders and meet specific vision requirements.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent use of hand and power tools, and maintaining agility in various positions.
