Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Swain Community Hospital. As a CNA Specialist, you will provide direct and non-direct personal care to patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and non-direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist with vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Perform Telemetry Tech duties, including monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the Registered Nurse
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED preferred
  • Current listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification maintained
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mm squares
  • Ability to hear within normal range
