As a CNA Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include providing direct and non-direct personal care to patients, understanding and reacting effectively to their unique needs, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in telemetry monitoring and unit secretary tasks. * High School graduate or GED preferred
* Current Listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property in a facility that provides Nursing Care
* American Heart Association BLS Certification maintained
* Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
* Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mm squares
* Ability to hear within normal range
* Ability to reach overhead
* Ability to remain calm, continue to function effectively and develop priorities during stressful situations
* Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal media
* Ability to move and operate equipment and carry supplies
* Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
