VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at MCI-Framingham in Framingham, MA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care and experience working in a correctional setting. As a Psychiatrist with VitalCore, you will provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients, as well as psychiatric consultation and diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and individual and group therapy.
- Collaborate with site staff to provide clinical direction and general supervision.
- Approve and sign treatment plans, and monitor their implementation and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Graduate of medical school and completion of an appropriate psychiatric residency.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia and certified by the Office of Behavioral Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
- Current DEA number.
